The apartment was not as advertised. Fake pictures, not those of the real place. Negative: The apartment was not as advertised. The listing photos are computer-generated renders and did not show the actual apartment we received. Before check-in, we specifically asked the property whether the photos showed the real apartment, and they confirmed that this was the apartment. In reality, the apartment was different: the kitchen and living room were smaller, and the layout/details did not match the listing. The kitchen was also not practical to use. There was a kettle and a coffee machine, but there were no usable power sockets in the kitchen area to plug them in. The only way to use them was on the floor in the opposite corner, which is not a normal kitchen setup. There was also a noticable chemical/plastic smell coming from the hot water, as if the water had been treated with something. We reported this to the property immediately after check-in. At first, they told us to avoid using the hot water more than necessary, but later they claimed everything was normal. After we moved to another apartment in Milan, the hot water was perfect. The check-in instructions also contained mistakes, so we had to guess how to enter the apartment. Similar issues with instructions had already been mentioned in previous reviews, but the problem does not seem to have been properly fixed. The bedroom windows face the street and the garage entrance. Because the windows are not well insulated, the bedrooms are not quiet. We reported the issues to both the property and Booking.com shortly after arrival. As the issues were not resolved, we left the apartment the next day and requested a refund for the unused nights. At the time of writing this review, more than one week after we left, there is still no refund. Booking.com informed us that the property refused to compensate us, so we are considering further formal action. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. In my opinion, the listing is misleading and does not accurately represent the apartment provided.
